School-Based Health Services

In partnership with several school districts, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and funders, Catherine’s provides a variety of in-school services to reduce barriers, to keep kids healthy, and to foster academic success.

Townline Elementary

Services Provided

On-site comprehensive outpatient counseling services for needs ranging from mild to moderate severity. Counseling services are provided year-round.

Who Can Participate?

Students enrolled within the partnering school only. No out-of-pocket fee for services. A consent form signed by a parent or guardian is required for services.

On-site comprehensive outpatient counseling services for needs ranging from mild to moderate severity. Counseling services are provided year-round.

Who Can Participate?

Only enrolled students within the school, regardless of ability to pay. A consent form signed by a parent or guardian is required for services.

Confidential Services

Current Michigan Law allows for confidential services to minor students in these areas

12 years or older:

  • Referrals and education regarding sexually transmitted diseases including HIV.
  • Referrals and education regarding family planning.
  • Referrals and education regarding pregnancy care.
  • Substance abuse counseling and referral.

14 years or older:

  • Can receive limited outpatient mental health services not to exceed 12 visits or four months and not to include any medications.

Crestwood Middle School

Services Provided

On-site comprehensive outpatient counseling services AND nursing services. Services are provided year-round.

Who Can Participate?

Only enrolled students within the school, regardless of ability to pay. A consent form signed by a parent or guardian is required for services.

Confidential Services

Current Michigan Law allows for confidential services to minor students in these areas

12 years or older:
