We are seeking a part-time medical receptionist to join our front office team!
Responsibilities will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient check in and check out, insurance verification and records processing.
Necessary skills to succeed at this position include but are not limited to: excellent verbal and written communication, proficiency with standard desktop computer system, multi line phones, keyboard entry, and electronic health record, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a setting with frequent interruptions and multiple competing priorities with a focus on excellent service and customer satisfaction. Must have good knowledge and understanding of insurance verification. Must be able to communicate with patients and insurance companies, have problem solving skills, be punctual and take direction well.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years experience in a medical office or similar setting. Knowledge of community resources, FQHC medical billing and patient assistance programs is a plus.
